STREET DREAMS SOCCER ACADEMY
ACADEMY OVERVIEW
A player-centered, trauma-informed, holistic approach to coaching that prepares our athletes for both life and for competition. We prepare our youth for success at all levels of play while prioritizing development of soccer and life skills. Development takes time, and we believe in progress over short term results.
TEAMS
SDSA teams are divided into Blue (A) and Gold (B). Depending on the number of players, there is a possibility of a White (C) team. Players on Blue (A) teams have much higher expectations when it comes to commitment. Players will be invited to a team based on their skill level and the appropriate level of competition. Coaches will evaluate and observe players in tryouts and will look for skill level and technical abilities, amongst other factors. Families will be notified of the team designation via Email.
SDSA COACH IDENTITY

THE DREAMER IDENTITY
An SDSA player is identified by their commitment, professionalism, leadership, and creativity. Dreamers are encouraged to be themselves and to express their abilities and gifts on and off the field, for the good of the team as a whole. Our players are expected to lead by example, and are encouraged to prioritize family, academics, and community along with their commitment to the club.
